I've started a new project with Natural England last month. Over the next year I will be recording some of the activities of their rangers on the Lancashire Coast. It's a job that includes monitoring animal numbers. Here's Rangers Sophie Bray and Sally Collier: checking a bat box together and Sally, using a mercury vapour light with a box under it, to collect and identify moths with eager members of the public.
